It’s finally here!!  Women & LGBT night is a perfect opportunity for the ladies, lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender community to come and have some special time at the NBP bike shop.  On the first Thursday of every month NBP will host this shop event from 5 to 8pm, this will be time that you can access our tools, work stations, shop for used bike or parts, and talk with others interested in bikes!  We hope to create a positive environment where women & LGBT individuals can work together and solve problems while learning to feel more confident with a wrench.

We understand that bike shops can sometimes appear competitive and macho. As a community organization NBP tries our best to facilitate an inclusive environment that is friendly and safe for ALL people at ALL times. However, we also find it very helpful to host Women and LGBT Night as a way to extend an open hand to those of us who identify as women, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered.
