NBP Activities Update – August 20, 2013

BreakingAway-1

Last week was our first week at the new shop, and it was a smashing success! We’re still working out the kinks, adapting our old model to this new, huge building, but we were excited to welcome old and new friends to our new home. A big thank you to all the volunteers that came out (and continue to come out) to help keep making this possible 🙂

This past Sunday also marked the last session of the Chainbreakers Collaborative, our 6 week youth program for youth between the ages of 10-15. Through the program, the youth learned about community service, character development, and biking safely in Newark. Read more about the program and the exciting things the youth did this summer on our website! Thanks to all our dedicated facilitators that made this program such a success!
