We are happy to announce the start of the voting for the election of the 2014-2015 Board of Directors.
The way NBP conducts its elections is unique and is what gives the organization its vibrancy and vision. Seven (7) members are elected from the community, all of whom have been nominated by at least one member of their peers. No campaigning takes place; rather, NBP community members take into account the interactions and encounters with other members and vote for the seven individuals they feel would best represent the organization. Starting this year, up to two candidates can be elected for a two-year term in order to improve continuity in the board along the years.
Without further ado, here are this year’s candidates:
- Kim Caruso (1-year term)
- Tim Hodson (1-year term)
- Jamie Magee (2-year term)
- Rory Murray (1-year term)
- Jamie Orlando (1-year term)
- Zack Rachell (1- year term)
- Nathan Tlaseca (1-year term)
In order to vote, you must first register to vote by emailing thijs.lanckriet@gmail.com. You will then receive the link to the online voting form, as well as a unique voting registration number that you must enter when you cast your vote. The person counting the votes will not know the individual linked to each registration number, so nobody but yourself will know who you voted for (secret ballot).
Voting begins immediately and ends on June 5th at midnight. Please register by June 4th at the latest to ensure you receive your voting registration number in time to cast your vote.
